In the third quarter of 2024, the top tools apps on the Android platform in the Middle East showcased varied performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced fluctuations in downloads, revenue, and active users.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy saw a peak in weekly revenue at approximately $18K in early September. Weekly downloads reached their highest at around 13.9K in late August, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 71K in the same period. However, a slight decline in active users was observed towards the end of the quarter.

ExpressVPN: VPN Fast & Secure maintained a steady revenue stream, with a notable increase to $11K in late September. Downloads peaked at about 9.9K in early September, and active users climbed to approximately 70K during the same timeframe.

Turbo VPN - Secure VPN Proxy experienced consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $7.9K by the end of the quarter. The app's downloads saw a high of roughly 64.7K in late July, while active users remained robust, exceeding 740K throughout the quarter.

Super VPN—Hotspot Shield Proxy showed a gradual increase in revenue, reaching approximately $8.6K by the end of September. The app's downloads saw a significant drop from a peak of 15K in late July to just over 3.1K by the quarter's close. Active user numbers also declined from over 80K in early August to around 61K by the end of September.

Lastly, X-VPN - Private Browser VPN experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, spiking at $10.4K in early September. Downloads remained steady, averaging around 23.7K throughout the quarter, while active users saw a slight decrease from approximately 392K in late July to 361K by the end of September.
